Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this life-changing opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

General Eligibility
  • You must be a Boulder County resident aged 18 years or older.
  • You must not be currently enrolled in or attending high school or post-secondary education.
  • You must be unemployed or underemployed.

Dislocated Worker Eligibility

In the last 5 years, you must have experienced a loss of income due to one of the following:

  • Layoff
  • Business owner/independent contractor who lost their business/self-employment
  • Divorce or death of a spouse
  • Employer’s business closing

Young Adult Eligibility

Candidates must be Boulder County residents, 18-24 years old, currently not enrolled in or attending high school or post-secondary education, and are experiencing at least one of the following:

  • Unemployed/underemployed
  • With disabilities
  • Justice involved
  • Pregnant or parenting
  • Homeless or runaway
  • High school dropout
  • Foster care/Aged out of Foster Care system

Please note that verification documentation will be required.

Additional Requirements

  • A virtual interview and Wonderlic assessment will be required.
  • Boulder County may require additional documentation.
