CompTIA is looking for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who have current experience specializing in improving cybersecurity operations using AI/ML knowledge, use AI and ML tools to spot potential security problems faster, ensure AI tools are not being hacked or misused, and/ or ensure AI is used responsibly and safely to be involved in a Job Task Analysis workshop for our new CompTIA certification, +Cyber AI.
During the Job Task Analysis, SMEs will identify areas of competence required for the +Cyber AI exam to ensure that the examination objectives are relevant to the job skills and activities for the target audience.
Assistance from SMEs is crucial in providing an industry relevant exam. Potential SMEs must have at minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Security Analyst, Penetration Tester, Cybersecurity Engineer, or Security Researcher and
demonstrated experience in at least 3 of the following areas:
SMEs who attend the workshop will receive:
In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire JTA workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.
*International SMEs will instead receive $540/day stipend ($2,700 total) to help defer additional travel costs.
Based on changing state and government guidelines/requirements, vaccination is currently not required for workshop participants.
