Sessions will explore upskilling workers, role of IT certifications in career development
LONDON – Technology leaders and channel businesses can gain valuable insights on how to upskill and grow their tech talent during the 2024 CompTIA EMEA Member and Partner Conference presented by CompTIA, the nonprofit trade association and leading IT certification provider for the industry and its workforce.
The annual conference, happening 21-22 Oct. in London, gives IT businesses opportunities to network with peers and learn how to solve the latest industry challenges.
This year’s tech talent learning sessions will explore the role certifications play in career development, including a presentation on CompTIA’s products and professional certifications. The sessions will also include discussions upskilling workers, investing in talent development and what an employee’s successful career progression could look like with the right certifications.
Jason Moss, senior vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, CompTIA, is among the scheduled conference speakers.

“Trending Topics in Tech Talent Development” – Discover the latest trends around training, current skills in demand, skills-based vs. degree-based hiring, and the role of certifications in the tech industry.
“The Role of Certifications in Career Development” – Panel discussion on the crucial impact of alternative and supplementary education programs on career development.
“How Policy and Compliance is Impacting Skills Development” – Expert panel discussion the impact of political leadership changes worldwide.
