DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. – Leaders from across the technology industry will tackle pressing issues and share insights on key trends impacting companies in the business of technology when CompTIA hosts its annual Communities & Councils Forum (CCF) Online March 16 and 17.

Traditionally an in-person meeting for CompTIA’s most engaged and active members, the 2021 CompTIA CCF Online is accessible to anyone involved in the delivery of technology solutions to business customers – from managed service providers and cybersecurity specialists to companies developing emerging technologies and individuals charged with making tech investment decisions on behalf of organizations.

“We are pleased and excited to open this event to a wider audience,” said Nancy Hammervik, executive vice president of industry relations and CEO of CompTIA Tech Careers Academy. “For our members, it’s a chance to renew professional acquaintances, make new connections and influence the initiatives we’ll focus on in the coming months. For anyone unfamiliar with CompTIA, it’s an opportunity to find out about the many benefits of joining our strong and impactful community.”

Hammervik will formally open the 2021 CCF at 11 a.m. (CST) March 16 with a look at four key areas of focus for the industry in 2021 – cybersecurity, emerging technologies, business technology solutions, and workplace culture.

Other sessions scheduled for March 16 include Get the Scoop on Blockchain: What It Is and When to Use It, where blockchain market leaders will discuss the technology, real-world use cases in the market and how technology providers might add it to their solutions offerings; and the Cybersecurity Panel Powered by CompTIA ISAO, where cybersecurity experts will discuss the evolving paradigm shift in cybersecurity threats and how to manage the risks associated with them.

Also on March 16, the 2021 CompTIA Spotlight Award winners will be recognized for their outstanding service and impact through their commitment, passion and leadership in their industry, in advancing women and diversity in technology and in CompTIA communities and advisory councils.
