DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. – Expanding its commitment to help individuals and organizations unlock their full potential, CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the information technology (IT) industry and workforce, today announced two new additions to its executive team.
Jennifer Browning is CompTIA’s first chief people officer, with the core responsibility of creating a dynamic employee experience powered by a diverse and inclusive culture to inspire and empower people.
Jannienne Jones Verse is the association’s first Chief Marketing Officer. She leads CompTIA’s strategic marketing team in its work in branding, marketing, advertising, analytics, creative, production, digital marketing and related areas.
“Jennifer and Jannienne are great leaders with impressive records of accomplishment and success in their respective disciplines,” said Todd Thibodeaux, CompTIA president and CEO. “They join us at a crucial time as we accelerate our efforts to be the trusted partner and valuable resource for anyone seeking to unlock their potential.”
Before joining CompTIA, Browning was the senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Cboe Global Markets, a leading provider of global market infrastructure and tradable products. She was responsible for implementing progressive people programs, including a critical role in the organization's M&A growth strategy. She also held executive HR roles with ShopperTrak and Cleversafe. Browning holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and multiple certifications, including SHRM-SCP, Hogan Leadership Assessment, Prosci Change Management, and Work Effects Culture Strategy Alignment. Jennifer is also a Board Member for A.B.L.E., a non-for-profit organization that helps individuals with intellectual and development disabilities build skills and confidence through performing arts experiences.
Jones Verse brings over 20 years of experiences crossing the disciplines of strategic marketing, brand architecture, research, analytics, and business operations. Her career path includes critical roles with top companies such as technology giant AT&T, software systems leader Reynolds & Reynolds, and healthcare genetics expert Geisinger Health. Jones Verse earned academic awards and a Bachelor of Arts, Mass Communications at Wright State University, and completed a Master’s in Business Administration, Marketing Concentration, Summa Cum Laude, at the University of Phoenix. Her industry honors and distinctions include being named one of the nation’s most talented marketing professionals and honored as a Most Powerful & Influential Woman.
