Eligible for discounts on training materials and certification exam vouchers
Downers Grove, Ill. – Members of the Public Technology Institute (PTI) Powered by CompTIA are now eligible for free membership to the CompTIA Store, where they’ll receive discounts on training materials and exam vouchers from the leading provider of vendor-neutral skills certifications for information technology (IT) professionals.
From now through July 31, 2020, PTI members and friends can register for a free CompTIA Store membership. By doing so, they’ll receive a 20% discount off any CompTIA certification exam voucher, study materials and voucher/training bundles for one year.
“It’s more important than ever for IT professionals to keep their skills current,” said Dr. Alan R. Shark, PTI executive director. “Professional certifications and validated credentials continue to grow in importance and value for IT pros and the organizations that employ them, whether in the public or private sector.”
A 2019 white paper produced by leading research concern IDC found that CompTIA-trained-and-certified IT professionals consistently delivered better operational performance than non-certified workers.[1] This was true in such mission-critical areas as cybersecurity preparation and response, data management and protection, network configuration and maintenance, and technical support.
PTI members interested in a CompTIA Store membership should visit https://www.pti.org/join_now!/comptiastore.asp. Once membership is confirmed by email they can immdiately start to take advantage of the many training products and certification exam vouchers.
