BRISTOL, U.K. – A group of technology professionals who have demonstrated leadership in the industry and a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion along with three leading technology companies have been selected as the winners of the U.K. Spotlight Awards by CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the information technology (IT) industry and workforce.
“These professionals and businesses represent the best of the best in the United Kingdom,” said M.J. Shoer, chief community officer at CompTIA. “We’re thrilled to recognise their efforts at strengthening the dynamic technology community, and for their commitment, passion, professionalism, and leadership in assisting CompTIA to grow tech businesses.”
This year’s awards ceremony was held at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel as part of the annual CompTIA UK Business Technology Community Meeting. The event attracts a diverse audience of executives and leaders engaged in the business of technology, from those selling technology solutions to training and teaching tech skills.
“CompTIA has always aimed to promote and embody excellence and standards across the technology sector and across the globe,” Shoer said. “These winners very much represent those values.”
