Respected industry executives Jos Hageman and Alwin van der Heide will lead group
Amsterdam – CompTIA, the international, vendor-neutral IT trade organization, has selected two respected technology industry executives to lead its new Benelux Business Technology Community.
Jos Hageman, founder, Hageman Scale-up.eu, was named chair and Alwin van der Heide HR Business Partner, SBIT Hospitality Services B.V., vice chair of the community, which formally launched October 1 with more than 40 members.
Hageman has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry. After several years in various roles for smaller companies in the field of both hardware and software, he joined Samsung Electronics in 2000, where he was responsible for the European branded Optical Disc Drive business, resulting in impressive sales growth all over Europe. In 2007, he joined Microsoft where he started with Benelux responsibility for PC sales in the retail channel. Subsequently, from 2008, he was responsible for partner management of large OEM partners in EMEA. In 2017, he established his own consultancy firm, Hageman Scale-up, helping companies that have international ambitions with building strategies, business development and innovation.
van der Heide is HR Business Partner at SBIT Hospitality ICT Services, a managed service provider that primarily serves customer in the hotel and hospitality industry. He has been working in the HR related industry for many years now. Vander Heide owned and managed his own companies and worked for large corporate organizations. In addition, he was active in several networking organizations.
CompTIA also announced that seven other industry leaders have joined Hageman and van der Heide on the Benelux Business Technology Community’s Executive Council. They are:

• Jeroen den Haan, senior sales manager EMEA, Solarwinds MSP
• Scott Tyson, managing director EMEA, Auvik Networks Inc.

• Daniëlle Meulenberg, channel account manager, MSP Western Europe, Sophos
• Steven Tytgat, owner, Tyneso
CompTIA helps its members build and expand their businesses and careers through collaboration and best practice sharing to showcase how technology can be leveraged to solve real business needs. Together, the members explore business opportunities and challenges to better prepare them for the future.
