CertMaster Practice tests help students prep for CompTIA certification exams

Downers Grove, Ill. – CompTIA, the global information technology (IT) industry trade association, and Amplifire, the leading eLearning platform built from discoveries in brain science, announced today that they are offering free online resources to help students prepare to take their CompTIA certification exams.

Students attending any school that is a member of the CompTIA Authorized Academic Partner Program are eligible for free 60-day access to CertMaster Practice, the online exam prep tool that helps learners stay on track, maximize study time and prepare with confidence for their exams.

“Students and their instructors have put in long hours studying in anticipation of earning a CompTIA certification, only to see their preparations put on hold when schools closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said John McGlinchey, executive vice president for global certifications at CompTIA. “With free access to CertMaster Practice, we’re encouraging students to build on what they’ve learned in the classroom so they’re confident and prepared when the time comes to take their certification exam.”

“We are excited to be joining forces with CompTIA and their partners in assisting students during these uncertain times. CertMaster Practice is an engaging and effective learning tool that will allow these students to master the concepts needed to pass the certification exam and excel in their new careers,” said Greg Simmons, senior vice president, Amplifire Advanced Education.

Beginning on April 15 CompTIA will offer an online testing delivery option for its certification exams via Pearson VUE’s OnVUE  remote proctoring solution.

“Students can learn, practice and test at home with full confidence that they’re doing so on a highly-secure system that’s available anytime and anywhere,” McGlinchey said.

CertMaster Practice is an adaptive knowledge assessment tool designed specifically for exam preparation. It uses a question-first approach to determine what a learner has already mastered and what they still need to learn. Through personalized feedback, visual dashboards that display progress and other features, learners improve their confidence and increase their knowledge retention.

CertMaster Practice courses are available through this promotion for CompTIA ITF+ (IT Fundamentals), A+ (Core 1 and Core 2), Network+ and Security+ certifications.

The free CertMaster Practice offer is available to students who attend a school that is a member of the CompTIA Academic Partner Program. The offer is valid through the end of the current school year, June 15th.

Students interested in access a free 60-day license for CertMaster Practice can register at https://www.comptia.org/content/lp/certmaster-practice-offer. Qualified applicants will receive instructions via email in 24-48 hours on how to get access. The offer is limited to one license per student.
